STAGE DOOR RENTAL AGREEMENT


The Stage Door located at Impulse Music Co. (hereinafter referred to as “IMC”) is intended to be used as a rehearsal space for music, stage production, and a meeting space for bands and/or groups of musicians. The Stage Door will be rented out in blocks of time as follows: one-hour blocks, with a minimum requirement of at least one hour. Space may be booked online, via telephone, or in person. 

At all times while booking and/or using the Stage Door, the Renter will abide by and follow any and all of the following policies unless given a written exemption from an authorized representative of Impulse Music Co. 

  • HOW TO BOOK
  • Renter may book the Stage Door in-person at 21515 Soledad Canyon Road, Suite 120, Santa Clarita, CA 91350, over the phone by calling (661) 259-5397, or via e-mail by e-mailing booking@impulsemusicco.com. 

    Any other form of booking will not be accepted or honored. 

  • HOURS AVAILABLE TO BOOK
  • There is a one-hour minimum for booking at the Stage Door. There are no maximum hours imposed, however, the Stage Door will only be available for the following hours and not available at any point thereafter: 

    Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 

    Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 

    Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

    Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 

    Renter(s) will be expected to be cleaned up and ready to leave by the end of their rental period or by the time of closing, depending on the times of their rental period. Any renter(s) not ready to vacate by the time their rental period expires will be subject to an extra $30.00 hourly charge. 

  • PAYMENT
  • The price for renting the Stage Door is $30.00 per hour. The minimum amount of time the Stage Door can be rented is one hour. 

    Renter(s) will pay for the rental period at the time of booking via credit/debit card. Payment can be made via electronic invoice in the event of booking via e-mail or over the phone. Renters’ time slots will not be considered fully booked until payment is received. 
    This is a NON-Refundable deposit. If the booking is missed there is no refunding or rescheduling.
    Reschedules are only permissable with a one week advanced notice to the booked time in question. Anything less than a weeks notice is not accepted.

  • EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE AT STAGE DOOR
  • The following equipment is available with any and all rental agreements: 

    • Tama Drum Kit (cymbals not included) 
    • Two Messiah Imp Guitar Amps 
    • Darkglass Bass Amplifier Head 
    • Darkglass Bass Amplifier Cabinet 
    • Mackie Mixer
    • Two Shure PGA48 Microphones and Stands 
    • Grand Piano 

    Renter(s) are welcome to bring their own guitar amps, bass amplifiers, and/or microphones. Renter(s) are not permitted to bring their own drum kits or mixers. Any gear brought by Renter(s) is expected to be set up and cleaned up by them. Leaving equipment behind may result in a cleaning fee. We are not responsible for any of the gear/equipment left behind by the renter.

    Renter(s) is also responsible for any damage that occurs to the gear provided by Impulse Music Co. or the stage or facility itself. 

  • RULES AND REGULATIONS WHILE USING THE STAGE DOOR
  • Maximum person(s) allowed in the Stage Door during the Rental Period
  • There is a maximum of six (6) individuals allowed in the Stage Door during the rental period. It is a requirement that at least one of the six individuals in the Stage Door be the individual whose name appears as the Renter on this contract. 

  • No drugs, alcohol, or smoking allowed in the Stage Door 
  • There is to be no drugs, alcohol, or smoking in the Stage Door at any time during the Rental Period, even if all person(s) present are of legal age. Violation of this rule will result in a permanent ban from the Stage Door and Impulse Music Co. for all future events, bookings, or other activities. 

  • Food and/or drink in the Stage Door
  • Food or drink will not be permitted in the Stage Door, except for water. Water will not be left on top of equipment under any circumstances, this includes but is not limited to: amps, drums, mixers, the piano, or any other equipment provided by Impulse Music Co. 

  • Respect to the facility and Impulse Music Co. 
  • The Renter agrees to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner while in the Stage Door or at Impulse Music Co. This means engaging in a polite way with employees, any customers or other renters present in the store, and cleaning up any and all mess they make while using the Stage Door. 

    Failure to clean up any mess left behind at the Stage Door will result in a cleaning fee amounting to an extra $30.00 charge for the time it takes Impulse Music Co. staff to clean.

  • CAMERAS
  • In an attempt to ensure that the Stage Door remains usable and in peak condition for all Renters, there are cameras present to enforce all the policies and the safety of any and all Renters. As part of using the Stage Door, the Renter(s) is acknowledging that they will be recorded by security cameras and they may not tamper or block these cameras in any way. Tampering or blocking cameras will result in the immediate termination of the Rental Period without any refund.
